We left at 07:30 EST to begin the search, we drove to the predicted landing location based on the last position known. The owner of the farm was kind enough to let us go searching on his property. We searched his vast property for about 2 hours trying to get a signal or spot the capsule, but with no luck.
I then did a projection of the furthest distance the capsule would have travelled if it continued straight ahead instead of deviating from it's path as predicted. So we drove for another one and a half hours to get to this point, with no signals at all. We then worked our way back, firstly south of the predicted landing site then north of the predicted landing site.
After 10 hours of searching and approx. 900km travelled we returned home with not one, beep or burble that appeared on our radio and no flight capsule.
